The Seward County United Way in Liberal, Kansas, helps individuals and families throughout the county and many of our agencies serve individuals throughout the southwest region.Our agencies help build a better community by supporting youth and education, assisting abused women and children, responding to people in crisis, building stronger and safer neighborhoods, enabling seniors and people with disabilities, and helping working poor families.

Tuesday, Oct. 16 —5 to 10 p.m. Eat Out for United Way at Vargas Mexican Food Restaurant
Thursday, Oct. 25 — 5 to 9 p.m. Eat Out for United Way at Spencer Browne’s Coffee House
Sunday, Oct. 28 — 5 to 7 p.m. Trick or Treat for United Way at the Southgate Mall
Friday, Nov. 2 — 5 to 9 p.m. Eat Out for United Way at Ruffino’s Italian Restaurant, at the Depot

Dialing 2-1-1 is an easy way to get you into contact with agencies that can assist you across the state of Kansas.  It is a free and confidential service staffed with bilingual operators that work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  It is also the contact number to use during a community crisis. Thanks to generous state-wide grants, no local funds are needed for this program.
